Still on Hwy 30 but getting closer to the St. Lawrence River. There are some hills popping up here and there. Nothing major but still a lot of rock pocking up thru the earth’s crust. The flat part of the land is farmland.
Almost everywhere I go they speak French as their primary language. This has not caused any problems to date. All the road signs are in French as well as the billboards. I have not had to buy much, and nothing since I have been in Quebec, so the only challenge is at the Campground so far and they have someone in the office who speaks English.
I arrived at the Rayon de Soleil, this was the only place I made a reservation over the phone and it went smoothly. While there were a lot of RV’s there were still some open space in the evening so I decided to do what worked in Alaska and show up looking for space.
Another nice campground with mostly French speaking campers.

The hills are starting to show in the distance.

Kelso iis guarding the RV while I take pictures.

Pretty nice campsite and the awning was perfect to shade the picnic table.
