We got started really early today. Not having a plug-in and no wifi are 2 good motivators to get the day started. Kelso did not mind, he had a good walk, although it was relatively short. We were on the road at about 6:20 am. I needed to get coffee and we needed gas along the way. We also made a Rest Area stop for Kelso to do his duties and a little time outside the RV.
We started with some nice small town streets for about 6 or 7 miles and then we were on I-95 to I-90 to I-84. Good scenery and I am glad it was Sunday morning early, the traffic was very light and allowed us to get thru Massachusetts and most of Connecticut before there was any real traffic and even then it was not bad. We went right thru New York (the State) and into Pennsylvania. In New York we crossed the Hudson River near Beacon NY. It brought back some good memories of doing the Loop and going under that bridge twice, 2013 and 2014. In Pennsylvania we went thru a portion of the Poconos Mountains ( I did take a picture).
The final leg of the trip were roads that were narrow, winding thru the hills. They did have for the most pat a 40 mph speed limit, but the car in from of me thought 30 mph was more appropriate. I am not sure what the 8 or 10 drivers behind me were thinking. We went thru several small towns or villages, a nice Sunday morning drive.
I pulled up to the Campgrounds and we got out of the RV. We waited for a man to come down the ramp to the Office and he told me they were closed. I went up to the door to see if there was a phone number to call, and there was not. Kelso & I got back in the RV and I was just starting to go on Google Maps to find another campground when a different gentleman walked up to the RV and wanted to know what I needed. It turns out he is one of the yearly residents, so he went to the Owners house and they came down to the office. They had room and they checked us in. The yearly resident guided me to the correct campsite and stuck around to make sure I did not have any problems. All in all, everything worked out very well. Nice wooded camping area and Kelso is enjoying the outside right now. I have the laptop on the picnic table and have just about completed the posts.

This is I-84 in the State of New York.

This picure is in Pennsylvania and is in the Poconos Mountains.

This one is also in the Poconos Mountains and along I-84.

This picture is from our picnic table and shows you the amount of trees around. Also note that umbrella next to the RV, my guess is 20′ or 22′ in diameter and there appears to be an extra large hexagon shaped picnic table under the umbrella.
